When this lovely family came into the studio with this little bundle of cuteness all wrapped up I immediately knew that the shoot would be a good one. The first thing I noticed about Hugo was "that boy is tall"
Mum and Grandma were so happy to let me work my magic, and that sounded like a dream to me. I wrapped Hugo up (and snuck some cuddles in) and he was ready to model and this little guy sure did deliver, he was such a relaxed little dude and with Grandma (who came all the way from New Zealand) looking on with such endearment he breezed through his shoot with barely a peep made.
When it came the time to get Mum and Grandma into some pictures I just knew I would have to get a generations photo with them all together, it's such a special bond that a mother and her daughter share when they have just welcomed a new addition and I knew that Grandma would love a special keepsake for her trip to Australia to meet her new grandson.
When mum showed me the stuffed kiwi bird she had brought along, I couldn't wait (overly excited is an understatement) to pose Hugo in a stick nest next to the cute NZ national bird. To pay homage to the country where his parents met and his extended family still live.
