We had the pleasure of welcoming little Frankie into the studio along with her proud mama Taryn, her super lovely Nanna, Grandad, Donna and Paul. When they arrived with Frankie in the baby carrier I immediately wanted to have a look at her little face, and to say it was love at first sight would be an understatement; she had me at those cheeks.
Mama wasn’t quite sure if she wanted any photos, this is a common conversation that we have with many new mums, and my answer is always the same, “you’ll regret it, pose for one and see if you like them” I said this, but I knew she would like them because Taryn was absolutely stunning and she surely passed that beauty down to Frankie. We agreed that she would get in for a few photos on the proviso that I “made her look good” to which I pronounced “Girl I’ve got you covered”
Once I had pulled every prop possible out of the prop room (this may be an exaggeration) in preparation for this squishy little dream, I got my first Frankie cuddle while I wrapped her up into an itty bitty ball, Frankie LOVED being wrapped and she slept through the entire shoot (I think Mama wished she could as well)
She slept all the way up until I decided she would look oh so cute with a bonnet on and that’s when I found out that Frankie doesn’t like hats!
After a relaxing feed I bundled Frankie up again in my favourite wrap for photos with Mama who absolutely nailed every pose I gave her (no surprise there). Nanna and Grandad soon jumped in for pictures with their 2 favourite girls, I could see the pride in their faces as they wrapped their arms around Taryn and Frankie, after all it takes a village to raise a child and Frankie has quite the amazing village around her.
